Outdoor Soccer Trivia
- In the early days of soccer, the referee waved a hankerchief to command games. The whistle was introduced in 1878.
- Pele, the famous Brazilian soccer player who scored over 1,200 goals in his career, is actually named Edson Arantes do Nascimento.
- India withdrew from the 1950 World Cup because FIFA refused to let the team play barefoot.

Outdoor Soccer
You'll constantly be in and around the action in our co-ed outdoor soccer leagues, getting plenty of touches on the ball and chances to improve your own play.
Games are often fast-paced, friendly, and a great workout. And best of all, you get to play with your friends if you sign up as a group or team and possibly meet some new ones if you sign up as a single.
All games are self-officiated and should be played with a fun-first attitude so that everyone has a good time. The spring and summer soccer leagues are open to players and teams from Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Campbell River and surrounding areas.
Registration
Click the applicable icon below to sign up and pay league fees for a team or individual. For small groups, each player should fill out an individual form and mention their friends in the "friends" box, and pay the league fees. We'll take care of you from there. Have fun!
Subs can also contact us and be put on our wait list after the season starts, but with no guarantee of playing.
