CVSSC League Details
| What | Co-ed 5-on-5 flag football - Minimum one girl on field. - Leagues are 8 weeks, including playoffs. - Game times are approximately one hour and 15 minutes, and take place between 6-9 p.m. |

Flag Football Trivia
- De-flagging is the actual term used for stripping someone of their flag. Sounds a bit like de-flowering, weird.
- Flag football was not surprisingly designed as a way to limit the injuries piled up in tackle football.
- There is a World Cup of Flag Football played each winter at various locations and put on by the International Flag Football Federation.
- There is also a magazine dedicated to the sport, located at www.flagmag.com. Ahem, check your spelling if you type it.
- A national tour of four-on-four flag football called ZFootball awarded a $25,000 tournament prize to the champions M.O.B. (from Florida) in 2005.
Flag Football
Flag football takes the contact out of the game, leaving you free to run under a soaring spiral and showcase your bevy of astounding moves!
The best elements of football are still there: the passing; the running; the jukeing and jiving. And at the end of the game, everyone is sore from running, not internal bleeding.
Our Comox Valley flag football leagues use flags that pop (sonic flag-a-tag), and like all our leagues, players get discounts at our sponsor bars. And after running around, you might need a few pops to rehydrate.
The flag football league is open to players and teams from Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Campbell River and surrounding areas.
Registration
Click on the applicable icon below to register and pay league fees for a team or an individual. To register a small group, each player completes an individual registration and notes their friends in the "friends" box. We'll take care of you from there. Have fun!
